Arizona State University August 2024 – May 2025
In this role, I applied UX design principles to create digital and print assets that enhance Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) initiatives at ASU. My work involved designing user-friendly interfaces, refining information architecture, and improving visual hierarchy to make educational content more engaging and accessible. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with student needs and university branding. This role has strengthened my ability to balance aesthetics with usability, ensuring that content not only looks good but also enhances the user experience.
Freelance UI Designer
OPPO Mobiles May 2022 – August 2023
I designed mobile themes for OPPO, and seeing them cross 10K downloads was a surreal moment. This experience taught me the importance of balancing aesthetics with usability every design needed to be functional yet visually appealing to a broad audience. It also deepened my understanding of mobile UI design and market trends.

This role taught me how to align design with marketing strategies. I created UI assets for websites and social media, collaborating directly with clients. Seeing engagement increase by 15% because of my designs made me realize the impact of user-centric branding. Also, iterating designs based on client feedback pushed me to embrace an agile workflow.

Capgemini Oct- 2020 - May 2022
Capgemini was my first professional experience, and it gave me a deep dive into the corporate world, how teams function, workplace culture, and professional communication. I learned Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Scrum, which helped me understand structured workflows. But most importantly, I learned what I didn’t want to do - coding full time! While I enjoyed problem solving, I realized my true passion lay in designing intuitive experiences rather than developing backend systems. This realization pushed me to switch my career track and pursue UX/UI design.
